This new one has been found in some 18 different states in India according to a new report (https://pib.gov.in/PressReleaseIframePage.aspx?PRID=1707177) by the Indian Health Ministry's Indian SARA_CoV-2 consortium on Genomics (INSACOG).

The Indian Government has not found any increase in cases because of this, as yet.
