It has been a very tragic month in April 2021 for the whole of India. China mocking and ridiculing India for its failing and the BBC videos flashing clip after clip of the funeral pyres, mostly in Delhi. It has been an unbearable and surrealistic experience worthy of any of the horror movies of recent times.
However, from the beginning of May, things appear to be under some improvement in Maharashtra. Things in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu still need to work bringing down the numbers. I see a tiny bend in the Tamil Nadu case (perhaps it is what I am imagining) but Karnataka has a long way to go.
Are we finally seeing the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel? It is too soon to say.
