Microsoft Visual Studio to develop IOT projects

You need the Windows Developer program for IoT Developer Tools besides the hardware (Intel Galileo board). You will be obviously using Microsoft Visual Studio.
Before you download the necessary .msi file you need to go to Microsoft Connect site (https://connect.microsoft.com/) and join the program.

Visual Studio 2014 and Visual Studio 2015 are not supported and you need the WindowsDeveloperProgramforIOT.msi file which you can download from Connect site.

My problem with VS2010 Beta was due to a bug

Microsoft recently provided a link to fix the problem in response to my Connect feedback:

https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=481884&wa=wsignin1.0

This appears to be a bug which will be corrected in Visual Studio Beta2 (date tbd).

The following preventative measure is provided in this KB article from Microsoft. Thank you Microsoft for following up the connect feedback.

The problem is summarized here:

I need a better response from Microsoft

In their Connect web site I posted this message:

Installed the SuperPreview and try to get my blog to see how it would look in the different browsers as I have been comparing browsers for several javascript libraries.
This message showed up. "Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program". I was having the Windows Task Manager and was looking at the Performance and did not notice even a tiny blip. I was trying to bring up my blog at: http://hodentek.blogspot.com, a relatively small blog

They answered me by a reply which just said it is fixed.

I want to know how. I took my time to point out and, Microsoft should have the courtesy to point out to me how it was fixed. Is it really?
