Street scene from Puri Jagannath - September 26, 2019

Here is another street scene episode. This one is from the main street leading to the Puri Jagannath temple in Puri, Odisha (formerly Orissa).

Where can you see India? It is really in the streets and homes of people. It is here you see the groups of people, animals, and vehicles of all sorts and descriptions. More so than in the homes, you see real India and find its vibrations, the emotions, and the pulse of India in its millions of streets and roads.

King of tennis crowned at Roland Garros

Picture from: Unspalsh.com

I always liked Nadal and felt he gave an earthly feeling. I did not mind Roger Federer (somewhat smug) so much but did not like Novak Djokovic as he appeared to have a haughty attitude (although it was ok because he was very good at what he did). This is all just personal.

I am glad that Rafael is crowned the King. He deserves it.

This form NBC sports site;

"Rafael Nadal is the King of Clay once again, defeating Casper Ruud in straight sets to capture his 14th win at Roland Garros -- and become the oldest French Open champion ever."

Bangkok Temple complex on a rainy day

This is the first part of our journey to India in 2019. We wanted to visit Bangkok for a long time. The first time we visited was in 1970 on our way to Australia via India. At that time we did not see anything of Bangkok. Stayed at a hotel and left for India after breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was excellent with lots of fruits.

It is also on YouTube -  https://youtu.be/-dVz7R7M7Uo
